Bigwave supports local business with Share a Smile campaign

Here at Bigwave, we have a long history of helping businesses across the South West grow and flourish. With the Covid-19 pandemic, many of our clients (including those in the leisure and tourism sectors) have seen their businesses affected.

That’s why we’ve lent our marketing hands to PKF Francis Clark, a chartered accountancy and business advice firm to help them launch the #ShareaSmileSW campaign. Both Bigwave and Francis Clark share a passion for business across the entirety of the South West (we even have three offices in the same towns and cities), which allowed us to create the Share a Smile campaign to help local businesses.

What is the Share a Smile campaign?

At the heart of the South West community are local businesses, from restaurants and cafes to leisure facilities and tourist attractions.

The Share a Smile campaign encourages people to visit their favourite local businesses (whether that be big or small) and to help more people discover the local treasures right on their doorstep.

The campaign is simple; visit a local business (whilst observing safety measures), snap a picture of you enjoying your experience, and share your smile to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #ShareaSmileSW and tag the business.

Something as small as sharing a smile can help support your favourite local businesses, the local economy, and the jobs of people in your community.

Not only that, but you could also win a fantastic prize provided by PKF Francis Clark!

Why should businesses get involved?

Throughout the pandemic, there have been a few great Government initiatives that have been put in place to help support businesses. Whilst these have definitely helped, many businesses feel that they need more support throughout this period.

Bigwave has been working tirelessly this year to continue delivering our core mission statement of “making a difference.” We’ve created 21,484 items of bespoke client Covid-19 signage, spearheaded the ‘Get U Back’ national leisure and cultural recovery campaign, and completed over 800 projects, to name but a few things.

However, there’s still more to do.

The Share a Smile campaign is designed to highlight South West businesses and encourage new customers to visit you. Accompanied by the joy of a smile, this campaign can help boost your business.

And it’s not just your business that benefits; the campaign can also help to support your suppliers, your local community, and the South West’s economy.

Whilst many businesses might not have a large marketing team to help them grow and gain new customers, the Share a Smile campaign can help drive potential buyers to your door.

As a business or business owner, anybody can tag your business in this campaign, meaning that you’ll get instant benefits.
