The Overview

We’re looking for a passionate WordPress Developer to join our team of 40 experts on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours per week.

As a WordPress Developer, you’ll have a deep understanding of how to get the most out of this versatile CMS and will be able to work with our team to develop a range of WordPress websites for a broad customer base.

The Role

Specifically, your role will include:

  • Taking bespoke designs and turning them into WordPress CMS websites
  • Creating Custom WordPress features on existing & new websites
  • Develop plugin solutions for easy feature management
  • Working knowledge of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
  • Extending, managing, improving and debugging legacy code
  • Collaborating with the Account Management, Search and Creative Teams to deliver excellence

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need strong PHP development skills and a deep understanding of WordPress CMS.

Experience of the following is also essential:  

  • PHP, HTML, HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • MySQL, including the use of efficient SQL commands
  • Modern source control (such as Git or BitBucket)
  • WordPress CMS
  • WooCommerce
  • Custom Post Types

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

  • Object-Oriented PHP
  • React, VueJS
  • Laravel

Organised and obsessed with perfection, as a WordPress Developer, you’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience of working with Page Builders such as Gutenberg & Bakery would be beneficial.

The Overview

In this important role, you will have the chance to make your mark on a growing department. Reporting to the Search Director, you will take ownership of several client strategies and help deliver and develop successful SEO strategies that will have a positive impact on increasing SERP visibility and website ROI.

The Role:  

As an SEO Manager, you will help to deliver excellent results for our customer’s SEO campaigns.

Reporting to the Search Director, you will be expected to:

  • Have working knowledge of CMS systems like WordPress or Joomla
  • Understand On-Page optimisations & ranking factors as well as good copywriting skills to be able to implement changes and tune or craft appropriate content
  • Good knowledge of the Google Marketing suite in particular GA and GTM
  • Do Competitor & Keyword Research
  • Deliver off-page optimisation campaigns on occasion
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Power Point.

And:

  • Manage unique SEO strategies for a range of customers targeting both Local and National audiences
  • Carry out SEO audits for key customers and prospects and deliver technical documentation for on-site recommendations
  • Use Google Analytics and other analytical programs to deliver key monthly performance reports

About You:  

To be considered, you will need:

  • A proven SEO experience and a track record of improving SERP results
  • To be highly organised and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Up to date on all things SEO
  • The drive to go the extra mile to achieve excellent results and take pride in your work
  • Experience of using at least one SEO tool (or equivalent), I.e.: SEMrush, MOZ, RankRanger, SEOprofiler, Ahrefs, MajesticSEO, LinkResearchTool, SEO Powersuite, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Agency Analytics, RavenTools, etc.
  • Experience with project management and time-tracking software
  • Knowledge of HTML or a programming language as well as working knowledge of web server technologies would be beneficial (although not essential)

Agency experience or examples of previous work will provide a significant advantage to candidates for this role.

The overview

We are currently looking for several aspiring business and sales professionals who are looking to develop skills in telesales, marketing and account management.

This is an opportunity to work towards an advanced apprenticeship in business while developing practical skills across administration, project planning and social media/web management. Placed with the Business Development Team you will be trained, and gain experience of, Telesales – working within this team for approximately 75% of your placement. You will also be given opportunities to explore a range or roles and training across the agency, and be encouraged to follow areas of interest.

The Role  

On a daily basis you are likely to be:

  • Making outbound calls and engaging new customers
  • Booking appointments for our sales team, and potentially clients
  • Supporting the wider agency teams across Client Services and Search
  • Gaining training and experience in Marketing and Sales

The requirements

  • GCSE English and maths A-C (4-9), or equivalent. If you haven’t yet achieved these grades you should be willing to work towards a Functional Skill qualification alongside the apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role would be an advantage.

The following abilities are desirable but not essential:

  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Motivated and inquisitive in nature
  • Basic computer skills: word processing and email.
  • An interest in marketing channels or techniques

The following personal qualities are desirable:

  • Happy to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confident communicating face-to-face and over the phone
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to develop a career in business development or marketing
  • Happy to use initiative and ask questions when needed
