Last night, Thursday 12th July, over 400 people attended the annual British University and College Sports Awards Dinner, which took place in the new Forum at the University of Exeter.
Bigwave Media sponsored the reception drinks prior to the awards, which celebrate the successes of sports teams and athletes from across the UK that take part in the BUCS competition. The 13 award categories also recognise the work of the volunteers and supporters who contribute their time and expertise to University Sport.
The evening was hosted by Olympic Medallist and BBC Olympic Swimming Correspondent Steve Parry who was joined by 2003 Rugby World Cup Winner, British Lion and former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody MBE for the after dinner speech and presentations of BUCS Awards.
Bigwave Media’s Business Development Manager, Nick Masson, said: “Bigwave Media were absolutely delighted to sponsor the drinks reception; it was a fantastic opportunity to meet with existing clients as well as new people.”
Bigwave Media are working with an increasing number of universities on health and fitness developments, including swimming development, branding and mystery shopping.
