We partnered with Torbay NHS to support their Smokefree Pregnancy Service — a vital initiative aimed at helping expectant mothers quit smoking for the health and wellbeing of their babies.
Our Approach
This was a project rooted in empathy. Our goal was to communicate a serious message in a way that felt supportive, not judgemental. To achieve this, we developed a visual language that was warm, approachable and grounded in real experience.
A key part of the project was an on-location photoshoot. By working directly with real people involved in the service, we were able to capture genuine, heartfelt stories that brought authenticity and relatability to the campaign.
What We Delivered
- Videography: People led videos for use across web and social media.
- Posters & Banners: Bold, informative designs aimed at raising awareness in clinics, hospitals and community spaces.
- Leaflets: Accessible, easy-to-digest materials for distribution via healthcare professionals and antenatal services.
- Digital Assets: Social media graphics and web visuals to support the campaign across digital channels.
- Photography: A bespoke library of authentic images, reflecting the real people and stories behind the message.
The Result
By combining clear messaging with real, human storytelling, the campaign created a deeper emotional connection with its audience. The materials have been rolled out across the Torbay area, helping expectant mothers access support and take positive steps towards a healthier future.
