Creating An Iconic Image

Bigwave partnered with SCREEN Europe to create an iconic image as the centrepiece of their marketing for Drupa 2024, along with designing all artwork for their exhibition stand. Drupa is the world’s leading trade fair for printing technologies, held every four years in Düsseldorf, Germany, showcasing the latest innovations in print, packaging, and industrial production.

Concept Development

The use of abstract paint textures was explored to create a dynamic and artistic visual identity for SCREEN. This approach symbolised creativity and innovation while reflecting the fluidity and precision of modern digital printing. To reinforce SCREEN’s focus on AI, automation, and building for the future, tech-inspired elements were incorporated, creating a sense of motion and progress.

The Chosen Design

The chosen concept centred around using CMYK colours to emphasise SCREEN’s core printing expertise, while incorporating abstract elements and variation to ensure flexibility across different assets. The design’s versatility ensured that it would tie together seamlessly, remaining instantly recognisable regardless of the application. Additionally, the vibrant colours complemented the white backgrounds that SCREEN favours for their minimalistic aesthetic, ensuring a clean, modern look that aligned perfectly with their brand identity.

Creating Artwork

Full-scale, high-resolution designs were developed for all walls and signage suspended above the stand. This included 3D mockups for labels and applications, allowing clients visiting the stand to understand and visualise the features of each machine. The designs were carefully crafted to ensure that every area effectively showcased SCREEN’s various machines and their capabilities.

Visualising The Stand In 3D

3D visuals were created to give the client an accurate sense of how the designs would look and scale within the exhibition space. These 3D renderings allowed the team to visualise the overall layout and placement of elements, ensuring that the artwork, signage, and machines would be seamlessly integrated, and helping the client gain a clear understanding of the final look before implementation.

Creating Visuals For The Client

For the resort’s Halloween event, we created a customised logo that encapsulates the spooky yet family-friendly atmosphere of the trail. Additionally, we designed clue cards and trail boards, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for participants.

Final Result

Understanding the importance of weddings as a significant aspect of The Mole Resort’s offerings, we designed a wedding brochure that exudes romance and sophistication. The layout showcases stunning venue photography and information, providing prospective couples with a comprehensive guide to planning their special day at the resort.
