

Strengthening NHBS’s Product Offering Through Photography
We partnered with NHBS to elevate their commercial range through timeless, high-quality photography that captures authenticity and real-world use.
The result is a curated image library that showcases the quality and uniqueness of NHBS’s products, designed as evergreen content for long-term use.





The brief
NHBS wanted a collection of photos that:
- Demonstrated confidence and ease in using the equipment in its intended natural setting
- Reflected their responsible environmental values and passion for the natural world
- Showed the high-quality and specialist offering of their wildlife, ecology and conservation equipment and books
- Portrayed timelessness in the use of products essential for longer term research projects
We were tasked with photographing a core product range that could supply content for future NHBS campaigns and provide imagery for their ongoing social media presence, taking into consideration all marketing channels and size ranges.





Lifestyle photography
Within our photo shoot of NHBS products we captured equipment and merchandise in a beautiful and authentic setting, sparking customers’ imaginations and connecting with nature.
NHBS were keen to set the shoot locations, using models from their team (and from ours!), taking advantage of the beautiful and abundant nature of NHBS and Bigwave’s locality of the South Hams, Devon to serve as fitting backdrops for their range of wildlife products.





Product-focused photography
We shot a core range which focused in on real-world usage of NHBS products, showcasing the functional specifications such as size and setup, as well as their connections with the natural habitats they are intended to be used in.





Outcome
So far we’ve incorporated this photography in several Paid Media campaigns, including Black Friday sales and Christmas promotions, from which we’re proud to report a strong performance for PPC, with:
- 94,351 Impressions
- £6.56 Cost per Conversion
- A conversion rate of 4.56%
NHBS are happy with their resulting photo library, and plan to use the photos in future PPC campaigns, including promotions of their nest boxes in the immediate future.
