
Inspiring Community Wellness: Real Stories, Real Impact
As part of our objective to help Impulse Leisure inspire more people in their local community to use their facilities, we created a campaign that put the voices of their existing members at the forefront. By sharing their personal experiences, we shaped a campaign designed to encourage others to do the same. The campaign was perfectly timed for the start of the new year, when many set fresh goals and resolutions.
The messaging was rolled out both physically and digitally through various materials such as posters, banners, social media posts, and as video content.
Each featured member represented a key aspect of Impulse Leisure’s full membership offering gym, swim, and exercise classes. These were visually distinguished by colour, making each persona easily recognisable for the activity they are helping to promote.
In both video and static formats, we captured the members’ words of recommendation, reinforcing the messaging:”Your Wellbeing, Your Choice” and”Choose What Suits You.” This emphasised that Impulse Leisure provides flexible options to support every individual’s wellness journey.





An Overview of Key Highlights and Successes
The “Your Wellbeing, Your Choice” New Year fitness campaign (2025) was a great success, generating strong engagement and positive results across social media and search platforms. The use of real testimonials and video content resonated well with audiences, making it one of our most successful New Year campaigns to date.
The campaign effectively increased visibility and engagement on both Facebook and Instagram. Meta video plays helped sustain high levels of awareness, while testimonial posts were especially effective on Facebook, achieving an engagement rate higher than the platform average for businesses. On Instagram, video testimonials performed particularly well, with engagement rates surpassing the 2024 fitness industry benchmark.
Despite limited reach on YouTube, Meta video plays maintained strong awareness, solidifying the campaign’s impact and setting a strong foundation for future efforts.
