Bigwave truly rolled out the red carpet on Friday 9th June, as the team came together to beat down heart disease.
Wear it. Beat it, an event organised by the British Heart Foundation, saw thousands of people across the UK don red to raise money in the ongoing battle to prevent heart disease. Amongst the sea of (one) colour was Bigwave.
Each and every individual within the Bigwave walls was kitted up in a red item, from shoes to hats and dresses to t-shirts. There was even a red-themed bake sale.
The fundraising manager for Devon and Cornwall, Joy Petley, also stopped by for a visit and took some snaps. All in all, Bigwave was able to raise over £50 for the fantastic cause.
Heart disease affects seven million people across the UK. The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s leading heart charity. Their vision is to exist in a world in which people do not die prematurely or suffer from cardiovascular disease.
The team at Bigwave was pleased to have played a part in helping them reach their goals, enjoying some good food and laughs in the process.
