The Bigwave Happiness Board

At Bigwave, we prioritise the happiness and well-being of our employees. To ensure a positive work environment, we have an employee-led Happiness Board that meets regularly. The primary responsibility of this board is to organise and run staff events, fostering a sense of camaraderie and enjoyment among our team members.

In addition to organising internal events, the Happiness Board also takes part in planning charity events. These events provide our staff with the opportunity to actively contribute to fundraising initiatives and give back to our communities. We believe in making a positive impact beyond our business, and these charitable endeavours align with our values of social responsibility and community involvement.

At Bigwave, we recognise that a happy and fulfilled team is key to our success. Through the efforts of our dedicated Happiness Board, we strive to foster a work environment that not only supports professional growth but also promotes a sense of belonging, teamwork, and community engagement.

Throughout my Apprenticeship, I felt supported by everyone at Bigwave and appreciated how willing people were to take time out of their day to help me. I was always treated equally and given opportunities to demonstrate my own capabilities. I was so pleased when I was offered a full-time position.
